This week I work on the rest of the heart of the song, to give the song a little more pulse I was looking for a bass. I decide to use the internal instrument in logic call synth ES M these give a plugin where u can change a lot of factor with the instrument you can change the wave patterns of the sound. From that you can change the filter cutoff. In the automation section of logic I adjusted the overdrive to the ES M this made the distortion loader making it a big presence of the section. A filter is an effect that you can image a water filter; it filters particulars of the sound, which makes the sound more open or closed. For the bass I placed it once per music phrase. I change the wave patterns of it so it sounds distorted. I also added the noise of the song. The noise I created from the synth ES E .The noise is important because it added to the climax of the song when every thing gets loaded, bigger, and lets not forget noisier! I set it the automation, which control individual setting of the synthesizer. In this case I changed the filter cutoff of the sound from ES E. That’s all that got for this week. I chose to do my blog series on making music, I currenly have been djing for about 2 years,I’ve always been interested in music I’ve played different instruments from the age of 10 from trumpet, bass guitar, bagpipes, and now a synthesizer. It was probably this summer when I got interested in the production side of djing. I really got interested after I started to critic my buddies DJ Housework productions.I use to chill in his sessions making music, and would give my input how I felt about the song. If I could grove to it, if I liked it or not. From there he would make addition to the song, and release them through social media sites like Facebook, and Youtube.He has had an influence on the way to produce a song.

I use the program apple logic to for music production. This week I worked on the heart of the song, the main beat. I’ll set this song for 128.00 BPM(Beats per minute). This will give the song a up lifting feel to it. The instrument that I work on first is on the kick, I set it up so it would play on every beat, and so if you counted out the music you would hear the kick on 1,2,3,4. This pattern would repeat through out the song, but the volume level of the beat would change and get louder to establish to idea of the song, but softer when the song broke down for the climax of the song. The next part I added was the clap, the adds for another effect to be layered on top of the song I decided to place the clap at the beginning of every count. I placed them so the would be counted 1, and this breaks up the beat, which I feel makes the song more interesting.
